The Name of the Doctor

And so many references mentioned in passing! The Valeyard! And John Hurt as the Doctor who "broke the promise", I'm so excited!
This episode was amazing. The places alone were awesome, but then we got Vastra, Jenny, and Strax, River Song, connecting back to the way River died, heroic Clara, the Doctor having to face saying good bye, all the regenerations of the Doctor, and the creepiest monsters one could ask for!
And the Great Intelligence turned out to be really important; "sounding familiar" indeed! I honestly can't imagine how this will all end, and having to wait until November...!
Anyway, this is definitely an episode I need to rewatch. Not just because I enjoyed it, but so much was going on that it will take a while to look at it all and theorise, haha.
